Dissertation Title: Economic burden of cancer: analysis of out-of-pocket and total expenditure for all-cancer, skin cancer and hepatocellular carcinoma patients
Mohammad Karim is a PhD candidate in the Department of Health Policy and Management, School of Public Health, Texas A&M University. He is also a Research Assistant in the Population Informatics Lab at TAMU SPH. He received his M.Pharm and MBA degrees from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and MS degree from Duquesne University, PA, USA. His work experience spans from pharmaceutical marketing to drug discovery research at different stages in his career. Currently his research is focused on cancer care disparities and economic burden of cancer. He has expertise in secondary database and survey data analysis. Karim strives to be a successful academician tying together his multifaceted training and experience in healthcare and public health.
